Backlights

Mission critical applications require crystal clear resolution, high contrast and well lit displays to provide the level of service required by today's standards. Backlight replacement provides a cost effective solution to replacing dull, faded and discolored flat panel displays. Accessibility to a cleanroom environment helps to avoid the opportunity for contamination, dust and particulate invasion which can destroy many flat panel displays during the disassembly and assembly procedure necessary for backlight replacement. Standard backlights can also be upgraded to improve viewing quality.

Monitor alignment and calibration is performed to meet DICOM standards by our highly skilled technicians. Utilization of top quality image balancing equipment can detect attenuation of marginal components such as backlights.


Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamp (CCFL)--LCD Backlight The CCFL(Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamp) is a light source classified as an electronic component. The CCFL in simplest terms is a gas-discharge light source, which produces its output from a stimulated phosphor coating inside the glass lamp envelope. A CCFL can be described as a transducer converting electrical energy into light energy.

Backlight Reflector:
Backlight Reflector is sputter-coated Ag on polyester film with outstanding optical, mechanical and thermal properties. The CCFL Lamp is mount in side a reflector. Each Reflector can installed 1-3 CCFL Lamps. There usually two reflector are used on TFT Panel ( Note, Most of Notebook screen only used one Reflector with one CCFL Lamps) which mounted on the top and bottom of TFT Panel Module( See Below Photo)
